We are excited to have Dr. Chad Ruoff as our 2019 Keynote Speaker!
Dr. Ruoff is board certified in sleep medicine, obesity medicine, and internal medicine. His career in sleep medicine began as a sleep technologist in 1998 while completing his undergraduate education at Georgetown University. He received his internal medicine training at Baylor College of Medicine and then completed a sleep medicine fellowship at Stanford University in 2011. He remained at Stanford University as a faculty member and Associate Fellowship Program Director until 2016.
During his tenure at Stanford, working with Drs. Mignot and Guilleminault, he developed a strong interest in the clinical evaluation and treatment of CNS hypersomnias. He continues to work with Stanford Sleep fellows as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor. He now practices both Sleep and Obesity Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, California.
